Well, take one where theft was officially named in the lemon
of April of 1955 when the group of instructors in Korea came together this is predominantly pushed by General Cheon. I reason Venus he wanted to have
specifically a National Korean martial art as opposed to having the Japanese
influences. West with the head for many years so a lot of the schools came
together which we called Kwan's and they adopted the name of Taekwondo which literally
means the art of Hamelin force. And from there it grew worldwide and 22nd
America in 6060 international take-ups on the Federation was formed at this stage.
I
suppose associations throughout the world similar self on the crest to my nards
signifies the art and how many in peace the same symbol on the back of our door
box which is our uniforms is the evergreen tree which is again the fact. It doesn't shed in its throughout the year so
that's what the tree is for the actual total shape which we use normally. When
we owe our plaques represents longevity which is fast you hope to achieve from
check wonder. I'd say everyone is techniques are highly dangerous. If executed properly and you understand what
you do with them they're all very yeah
the whole idea is it's designed to be brutally effective. So that no matter what size you are it's going
to be effective for you but the huge part of it is your authority ethicist and
the protocol of Taekwondo which is obviously from coming in to bow to how we
interact with each other from seniors to juniors in regardless of senior grades
or junior grades also senior people so there's a huge moral understanding of I
suppose it's like you're taught how to defend yourself put your ass not unless
you really really need to. The whole
idea is that you show respect not just for other people mainly for yourself you can picture somebody that's said in the
late 20s initially coming in starting a martial art there might be even classed a bit rough and they come in initially they're tar how to bow? how to say yes?
so no store so sometimes.
TEACHER POINT OF VIEW:
I find it hard but if you can grasp that and understand that
it's part of what you do all of a sudden these did well. I find anyone is even remotely like that once
they start it's they find it very easy to fall into place for this. I have students that would be young teenagers
from young kids to one of my students she's testing for Black Edition she's 45. she always refers to me as sir and has no
problem with that and vice versa when I speak to them because she's over 40. I
love always a dresser has missed our miss us
if it's me and the same monster over a certain age we give them their full title
as well it's not just a one waiting where I'm the instructor. I have a massive ego so you have to say so
tome all the time it's done both ways so it's very respectful of course I members
are biased because I said, I met at three-four years this year so I think it's
probably on the best martial arts around. I've never studied any other martial
art. I watched quite a lot not to do would be kind of stupid the money we have
you have to see what other martial arts are about as well so for me what I'd
say is it doesn't matter what abilities you have what. The fitness you have when you initially start to
start your pace you learn at your pace and as soon as you get the grasp of
teams, you can push yourself harder or easier whichever you wish. You don't
need to be in shape you don't need to be flexible this all comes with training
like everything else the more you give in the more you get out. I find it very
rewarding martial art to be in because every three to six months we do grading switcher tests to move to the next
level so you're continuously learning something just competition if you don't want
to compete yourself you can go to the umpiring site which is referring if you
don't you can help in the organizing MS there's always something to do well. The world is the hard thing I want to do is
just it initially step in the door for the first time once you've done that
it's a bit easier.
I am sure you will get a lot of how to know about TAEKWON-DO.
